This peppermint mocha mudslide cocktail is festive and fun. This creamy cocktail combines the flavors of a classic mudslide cocktail but with a peppermint twist!
I am in love with this peppermint mocha mudslide.
It just might be my new signature cocktail. Many of my friends have a signature cocktail. I have one friend who only drinks Grey Goose and cranberry juice, another who only drinks dirty martinis with extra olives and another who drinks coconut rum and pineapple juice. My “signature” drink used to be a chocolatini until I had one too many chocolatinis. I won’t got into details, but suffice it to say chocolatinis are no longer my drink of choice.
I’ve tried making bourbon drinks my drink. This pineapple bourbon punch and this peachy bourbon slush punch are pretty darn amazing, especially when the weather is warm, but it is the holidays and I am in the mood for peppermint!
I have always loved mudslide cocktails, Kahlua and Irish Cream are the dream team when it comes to cocktails. I like to enjoy this Kahlua Frozen Mudslide in the summer time and this cozy mocha mudslide hot chocolate in the winter. Both hot and cold versions give you that warm, fuzzy feeling in your tummy that only a good cocktail can give you.
This peppermint mocha version is the perfect holiday cocktail.
It still has all the components of the traditional mudslide, vodka, Kahlua, and Bailey’s Irish Cream along with a dose of peppermint schnapps. You could add the peppermint schnapps to both the hot and the frozen version and if you are really feeling daring, and you could add vanilla ice cream to this recipe and make a peppermint mocha mudslide milkshake…so many possibilities which is why is why this has to be my new signature cocktail. This time, I promise myself I will not have too many!
