I have to tell you all about my recent experience with Kroger. Kroger asked me, along with 14 other bloggers to learn, shop, cook and eat together. I always feel hugely honored when I am asked to such events and meeting new bloggers is always an awe-inspiring experience.

The idea was for us to come together and celebrate Christmas in October. We wore ugly sweaters, sang Christmas carols and worked to plan a holiday meal. As we were discussing the ingredients that were going into out dishes, a Kroger representative was furiously entering ingredients into a shopping list on the  Kroger website. They were adding our order into Kroger’s new ClickList.

ClickList allows you to order your groceries online the night before, then pick up them up at a ClickList pick up location the next morning. If this were around when my kids were young, I would have been in heaven! No more shopping with infants or crying toddlers. No more shopping in the rain, cold, or snow. No more shopping when you are feeling under the weather or when you just aren’t in the mood!

Several hours later when our bus full of bloggers arrived at our ClickList Kroger location, our groceries were ready to go. An attendant went over our list to be sure it was correct and we able to pay without getting out of our seats. A disclaimer, because this was a special event, our groceries were ready quickly. Presently, orders placed in the evening will be ready for pick up the next day.

I know some of us like to pick out our produce to be sure we pick out the freshest, but I know that Kroger has fresh quality produce. I feel confident that anyone picking out my order for me will be able to provide me with the best produce possible.

However, if I needed to be specific, I can add special notes and instructions to my order just be sure I get exactly what I need.

The ClickList interface is so easy to use and creating your grocery list takes only minutes to prepare. Using ClickList such a carefree way of grocery shopping; it’s going to be life changing! Shopping in my pajamas is going to be the best thing ever!
