Weekly Meal Plan Week 17 – 10 great bloggers bringing you a full week of recipes including dinner, sides dishes, drinks and desserts!
For the first time in a long time, our family has zero plans this weekend. No sports, no dinner with friends, no family obligations. It feels odd and liberating all at the same time.
I think we should wear our pajamas all day long today. We should have no less than a dozen spontaneous dance parties. We should bake some cookies, drink cocoa and make bowls and bowls of popcorn. If we are going to make popcorn, we should probably watch a few movies. When we get bored with our movies, I think a campfire with S’mores will entertain us nicely. After a few snuggles and kisses, we will call it a day. Then we will start the whole thing again on Sunday. Sound good?
What will really happen is I will get dressed because I really don’t like being in my pajamas all day. Our kids will get bored with the dance parties and go straight to cookies. After those cookies come out the oven the kids will probably grab a few cookies as they head out the door to play with friends. I’ll be annoyed because now I’m left to clean up the kitchen. When I’m finished cleaning I’ll tell myself I need a new pair of shoes. So I’ll do some online shopping until the kids get home. Maybe we will watch one movie before the kids go to bed. My husband and will then each grab our tablets, watch a DIY home show or two and THEN we will call it a day.
Kitchen is CLOSED – Enjoy the night off!
