MOM’S CROCKPOT CHILI

This crockpot chili is hearty, filing, so savory and delicious! This takes minutes to throw together and then the crockpot does all the work!

This chili can be adapted to suit your family’s tastes!

– lean ground beef – cumin – dried rosemary – dried thyme –  chili powder – nutmeg – cloves – salt – paprika – garlic – kidney beans – fire-roasted tomatoes – tomato sauce

INGREDIENTS

STEP ONE

Spray a large skillet with non-stick spray, add place the skillet on medium-high heat. Add ground beef cooking until crumbled and no longer pink. Add garlic.

STEP TWO

Season beef mixture with cumin, rosemary, thyme, chili powder, paprika, nutmeg, cloves, and salt; stir. Place beef in a crockpot that has been set on low.

STEP THREE

Stir in beans (undrained), tomatoes, and tomato sauce. Cover, and cook chili on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Serve chili with cheese, sour cream, and chives if desired.
