These mini French Dip sandwiches are one of the easiest meals to make!

Your crockpot will do most of the cooking and it will leave you with tender and flavorful beef and a tasty sauce to go with it!

INGREDIENTS

– beef chuck roast –  beef consommé – water – garlic powder – Worcestershire sauce – low sodium soy sauce – Hawaiian rolls – provolone – melted butter – Italian seasoning

STEP ONE

Place your chuck roast (trim the roast if it has too much fat) in the crockpot. Cover the roast with two cans of beef consommé, water, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours (no peeking!)

STEP TWO

After 8 hours, remove the roast two a bowl to shred with two forks.  Strain the “au jus” or broth mixture into a bowl to serve alongside the sandwiches.

STEP THREE

Split 24 Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.  Place provolone cheese slices on the bottoms of the rolls.  Top the cheese with the shredded beef and place to top buns over the beef.

STEP FOUR

Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter and Italian seasoning and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until cheese has melted and the rolls are golden brown.
