Bamboo Utensils – You many not know this, but the best way to stop pasta water from boiling over is to place a bamboo spoon on top. It is strange, but it works. But that isn’t the only use for bamboo. I use these spoons to sautee, stir, spoon, and scoop.
My Kitchenaid Hand Mixer – is a small work horse in my kitchen. When I need to whip up something small like these Tiramisu Pudding Shots or Pumpkin Mousse Trifle, I grab for my hand mixer. It’s lite but super powerful. It can whip and beat with the best of them!

This KitchenAid Professional Stand Mixer is the backbone of my kitchen. Cookies, cakes, brownies, frosting, whipped cream and even shredding meat are all made easier with this machine. It is the best thing in my kitchen, that is not an exaggeration!

I stir it into my pasta, salad dressing and dips. The flavor in this mix is incredible! I think it’s versatile enough for every day cooking!

Lodge Cast Iron Dutch Oven – This baby is the bomb! It is thick and cooks evenly plus it can go straight into the oven! This dutch oven is amazing for soups, chili, briskets, roasts and chicken. This braises meats like a breeze!
Lodge Cast Iron Skillet – Every kitchen should have at least one cast iron skillet. This is preseasoned, reasonably priced and versital. I use this pan to make skillet cookies, nachos, tortellini dinners and cinnamon rolls!
Calphalon Contemporary 11-inch Square Grill Pan – Too cold to grill outside? That’s where this grill pan comes in, it is the best way to enjoy my burgers, brats or salmon in the coldest days. This pan is easy to clean and cooks evenly too! This is another tool that is a must in the kitchen!
