Ghostly and sweet Halloween projects you will love!
I’m not that good about making Halloween treats. I tend keep things low key and subtle. I bake cookies with pumpkin and just play it safe. But I have friends who LOVE Halloween. They are so talented and creative, I just have to share a few of their treats!
How about this Bloody Good Cheesecake. Heather from Sugar Dish Me is the queen of scream. Creamy red velvet cheesecake with a chocolate graham cracker crust is covered in a blood, red gel frosting. Ghoulish, spooky and delicious!
Candy Corn more your thing? Liz from That Skinny Chick Can Bake has the perfect treat for you! Simple two-toned cupcakes with a mound of glorious buttercream will complete your Halloween treat tray!
Spooky meets adorable in the ‘batty” cupcakes from Big Bears Wife! Chocolate cupcakes with piles of frosting. Angie says you could use your favorite box cake mix and tub frosting, or you could use homemade cake and frosting. She gives you a complete tutorial along with printables to complete the cutest bats I have ever seen!
And now we have cake. A big, spooky, spiderweb cake from Cookie Dough and Oven Mitt. This creepy, spooky cake is made with black cocoa powder and topped with dark chocolate and electric green frosting. Black candy melts come together to make a giant, scary cake-topping spider! This cake is soft and moist but gorgeously sinister!
There you have #TheHalloweenProject, round one. Stay tuned for more ghoulishly good food!
