Sometimes, I cannot believe how busy our lives have become. It seems as though there is only one night a week where we can all take a breath and relax together as a family. Between kid activities, church activities, home projects and work, we just can’t catch a break! In the chaos that is our life, I try to be sure we always eat at the dinner table together. The problem is, I don’t always know what dinner will be!!! Inevitably, my best laid plans fall through. I’ll forget to thaw meat for our dinner or I’ll be missing a key ingredient for the meal which I had planned.

This happened on Friday actually. I had planned on making chili but forgot to thaw my ground beef. It was 6:00 pm and I was in a panic because I had no idea what we are going to eat and I had three kids claiming they  were just going die if they didn’t eat soon! That’s when I grabbed my Tyson Any’tizer Boneless Chicken Wyngz and popped them in the oven! We had two flavors to choose from, Sweet Garlic Glazed and Mango Habanero.  My kids wanted the Sweet Garlic Glazed and my husband and I went for a little heat with the Mango Habanero.  We turned our boneless wings into a meal by using tortillas for soft tacos!  I always have avocados on hand, so I quickly threw together a creamy avocado slaw and we had a quick, delicious southwestern feast!  My kids were happy with their sweet, meaty boneless chicken, my husband was happy with his sweet and spicy chicken tacos and I was happy we had dinner on the table in 20 minutes!

Next time I go to the grocery store, (these little gems are available at Walmart) I’m stocking up on the Tyson Any’tizer Boneless Chicken Wyngz!  I’d be foolish not to!  They were perfectly seasoned and were thick and meaty.  My family loved them for dinner, but they would be a wonderful snack as well as the perfect appetizer for your next party!   Serve them plain, with this slaw or with a dipping sauce.  I’m sure you will be satisfied no matter how you eat them!

  7. We do a lot of tacos and wraps around here! I love the creamy avocado slaw idea, but I’m a little afraid of the word habanero, lol. Is that one really spicy?
